Another Evening Poem

At the corner there is she
A little girl with sad brown eyes
Yesterday she looked so happy
Today she's here with no smiles

I approach, ask her what's wrong
Something bad happened or someone hurt her
She says she doesn't know
Everything is all blur

Her world's been dark and doom
Captured in the moment of holplessness
No one can help her, she screams
She'd rather die with her somberness

You know, it's been gloomy,
shadowy, dimly lighted
She doesn't feel love or beloved
Her eyes temporarily have lost sights

She's reached out for a solution
And been crying miserably
Everyday is cloudy blue
She's sick and tired terribly

I pat her back and finally say
Seriously, I have been there before
When I wouldn't want to wake up
I couldn't ask for more

Take a very deep breath
And open your eyes
You see the world outside?
The color of the sky

Some questions don't have answers
Why do you waste your time?
Don't overlook what you have
Fortunately, you are always mine

Things regularly have two sides
Good or bad, black or white
It's your choice to take a look
To make wrong things right

We hug, cuddle and then kiss
Suddenly, she's yelling at my face
Don't you even know, huh?
You put me into this wreck!
